I'm Daniel and I'm the principal photographer at d'Soleil Studios. My wife Sophia and I started photographing weddings several years ago because it was the perfect genre for applying our love of portrait and documentary photography.

I love what I do because of all the awesome couples I've met over the years and all the great stories I've heard about their relationships.

I approach each wedding commission as a labour of love. I am very particular about my craft and strive to offer the very best photography to every one of my clients.

My style is a blend of candid documentary photography and editorial portraiture with influences from fine art. I love using color, but I also love the timelessness of black and white images. There are two of us covering each wedding and we are always respectful, unobtrusive, and of course, fun and easy to work with.
