I had the honor of being invited to photograph such a special day for Patti and Ben. They have known each other for some time, but only recently decided to get married, and they did so with a simple, yet emotional, wedding ceremony in a penthouse suite at the Wedgewood Hotel & Spa in downtown Vancouver. They could not have chosen a better venue for their intimate ceremony. The staff were outstandingly accommodating and readily helpful at every turn. It should go without saying that Patti and Ben are an adventurous and gracious older couple who have shown me that love and marriage can happen at any stage of life. We wish them all the best in the days ahead and many more memorable adventures together. Here are a few photos of their elopement, just before flying off to a much deserved European honeymoon.
