Nicole and Kaiser’s wedding is one we have been wanting to publish for some time and now finally have the chance to show if off. They celebrated their wedding day in Richmond, which is city just over the bridge from Vancouver. It’s a city known for its wealthy Chinese immigrants, an amazing array of Asian cuisine (some say it’s the best outside of Asia), outstanding summer night markets (The Summer Night Market and the Richmond Night Market), and some of the best water-side wedding venues in Metro Vancouver. UBC Boathouse is one of those unique wedding venues that everyone remembers. It’s home of UBC’s rowing club and offers a venue that actually floats on water. Nicole and Kaiser both started their day at the Westin Wall Centre Vancouver Airport, where they got ready, had their first look, and also performed a traditional Chinese tea ceremony to honour Kaiser’s family heritage. We later took photos of the wedding party around Richmond before going to their evening wedding ceremony at the UBC Boathouse. CC Roa of Roa Floral and Event Designs did another spectacular job of supplying the floral arrangements and decor for the venue, which transformed a rowing club into a elegant and up-scale wedding space. We also set up a open-air photobooth (studiobooth) for Kaiser and Nicole, which everyone loved. It was a big hit and became one of the many main attractions that evening.
