This past July, we were privileged to have spent the day with Lindsay + Jordan at their beautiful wedding, which started with a first look at False Creek before their ceremony at the Celebration Pavilion in Queen Elizabeth Park. The wedding day was perfectly coordinated by Ashley Burnstad’s team from Candeo Weddings. We’ve worked with Candeo before and can say that having an experienced coordinator always makes the life of a wedding photographer so much easier, not to mention the amount of stress it must have taken off the bride and groom knowing the the days’ events would unfold as planned.  I also can’t say enough how easy it was to photography the entire wedding party. After the ceremony, which was conducted by Alan from The Chapels, we travelled to Coquitlam, where the wedding continued with a casual cocktail and canapé style reception the Vancouver Golf Club, which was recently home to the LPGA CN Canadian Women’s Open. The whole experience for us felt fun and relaxed, and thanks to everyone, we managed to capture Linday + Jordan in their most natural light. Lindsay’s wedding dress was amazing. The lacy detailing and modern vintage style fit Lindsay perfectly. My favorite moment during the day had to be the first look. There was so much anticipation and excitement leading up to it, and of course it unfolded just as planned. We did the first look around False Creek and photos of the wedding party around the water. Being that Lindsay and Jordan were going to honeymoon in Maui, we just had to get some shots with a Hawaiian feel to it, so lucky for us, there were a few palm trees of along the sea wall, which we dodged a some serious seawall cyclists to get a few photo with. Above are just a few photos from their sunny summer wedding.
