Furry Creek weddings in Squamish have been one of our favorites in previous years. The natural beauty of Furry Creek in unmatched for a short forty-five minute drive from Vancouver. Not only do we love the area, the staff at Furry Creek are some of the best we’ve had the pleasure of working with (Especially Jill, who we love working with) – they treat their guests like royalty and anticipate their needs like clockwork. It’s no wonder that Rebecca + Andy chose to hold their wedding in such a spectacular venue.
The bride and groom began their day at the Sandman Hotel in Squamish, which was a fifteen minute drive from the golf resort. We took getting ready photos and some fun and eventful moments of Andy trying to see his bride before we left for photos with the wedding party.
Furry Creek outdoor weddings offer some of the most picturesque views of any venue in the region. Wedding ceremony guests are transported to a hilltop overlooking the gorgeous inlet water and mountains.
The wedding ceremony at Furry Creek happened during the hottest part of the day, but thanks to the surround trees and gentle inlet breeze, we had a little relief from the mid-day sun.
After the ceremony, we took photos with just the bride and groom around the Furry Creek Golf & Country Club grounds. We enjoyed a brisk ride through the rolling golf courses to some amazing locations that included a giant rock face and a beach along the edge of the country club.
Need I say that the dinner reception at Furry Creek was top notch? The food was exceptional and there were some very hilarious moments during the wedding reception thanks for Andy and his groomsmen. Congratulations again you two!
