A beautiful and emotional Westwood Plateau wedding is how Anna + Reggie’s wedding turn out. Our day started in Surrey, where Anna + Reggie got ready in separate locations. Anna got ready at a friend’s home while Reggie stayed at a Hotel nearby their wedding ceremony venue. We arrived to see Jayna Marie working her makeup and hair magic. Although not much magic was needed for Anna because she’s such a naturally beautiful bride – it’s no wonder Reggie was so emotional during the ceremony.
Anna loves Tiffany & Co., so much of her attire and decor choices were inspired by Tiffany colours and themes. I’m always impressed by the work that Jayna Marie does for her brides. These are the sorts of reactions I always see when her clients see their hair and makeup for the first time. Anna’s wedding flowers for her and her wedding party were by Wedding Design Studio and Buy the Bunch flowers. Anna’s dress was designed by Sophia Tolli and Reggie wore a Hugo Boss suit from Harry Rosen. The bridesmaids wore dresses from Lisa’s Bridal and the groomsmen wore Calvin Klein.
The Catholic wedding ceremony took place at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish in Surrey, BC and Father Gerardo Ravaso led the formal vows and religious ceremony. It was an emotional ceremony with tearful moments from friends and family as Anna entered the parish sanctuary. Adrian from A Stylish Arrival chauffeured the bride and groom in a vintage yellow 1930s Beauford convertible to Burnaby Mountain, then to Westwood Plateau Golf Club for the wedding reception that evening. Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club is one of the best places in Metro Vancouver to celebrate a wedding. It’s earn top Wedding Reception honors (Real Weddings Magazine) in the past and consistently receives high marks for its outstanding service and food. It’s certainly one of our favorite places to visit and we are always excited about the food and five-star attention from their staff. Anna + Reggie’s decor was handled by Wedding Design Studio from Pitt Meadows and their gorgeous wedding cake was made by Paula Lyons of Aeyra Cakes.
We had such a awesome time with Anna + Reggie, especially since I had the chance to do their engagement session mid-summer and got honor to learn more about them. They remind me so much of close friends of mine in their deep faith and devotion to each other, to family, and to God – not to mention Reggie’s a basketball fan, more specifically, a Laker’s fan just like me. Congratulations Reggie + Anna! Let the next chapter of your life be even more amazing than your wedding day!
